• 05/11/2009: CNKeeper is back online: CNKeeper is now back online after todays maintenance. All services should be restored to normal. We apologize for the additional hour of downtime in addition to the announced duration.

• 05/11/2009: Scheduled downtime on CNKeeper on Thursday 05/11/09 12:00-13:00: Due to essential system maintenance on CNKeeper, all services offered on CNKeeper will be unavailable between 12.00 and 13.00 on Thursday 05/11/09. This includes access to the EMBnet group and home areas, the EMBnet web site, the Emboss explorer interface, as well as command line emboss and gcg. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this.

• 01/10/2009: LaMDA web pages and databases are under maintenance: The Laboratory for Microbial Dynamics web pages and the MLST databases are currently down for maintenance, due to upgrading the web server software.

• 28/09/2009: NEW database subset available: Release 101 of the EMBL database is available for use on EMBOSS/GCG. MRS indices will soon follow.

• 20/09/2009:Bioinformatics for High Throughput Technologies and the Interface of Bioinformatics and Systems Biology the International EMBnet-RIBio Conference 2009, jointly organized by the European Molecular Biology network (EMBnet) and the Red Iberoamericana de Bioinformáca (RIBio) at the Paradisus Riviera Cancun Resort, located at the Mayan Riviera, Quintana Roo, Mexico, from the 26th to the 29th of October, 2009.. This will be the first time the EMBnet's Annual General Meeting will take place outside of Europe, bringing together bioinformaticians from all over the world, together with the Iberoamerican Annual General Meeting, and representatives of other major Bioinformatics societies in the World.
